Social activities

Cambridge is an outstanding place to be in the summer. There are many cultural events that take place in the evenings and at the week-ends, from sightseeing at Kings College to pub quizzes with your teachers. The Bell team will help you plan your time. At the beginning of each week you will be given a ‘What’s On in Cambridge’ sheet with details of events, venues and prices. Here is a sample of activities:

  • Welcome party on Sunday evening
  • Pub visit during your stay
  • Guided tour of Cambridge
  • Music evening on campus
  • Film evening

 
   
  • Visits to the colleges of Cambridge University
  • Punting on the River Cam
  • Shakespeare plays in college gardens
  • Cambridge music festival
  • Visits to artists’ open studios
