Language Improvement for Teachers

Who is this course for?

Primary and secondary school teachers who teach school subjects in the medium of English and wish to improve their general language skills. Participants should be at levels A2 (pre-intermediate) or B1 (Intermediate).

Course aims

  • The course aims to develop your language skills so that you will feel more confident teaching in English.

Course programme

This is a practical course.

Topics typically include:

  • Extending your range of vocabulary
  • Provide you with the general classroom language you need to organise and teach
  • Develop your language skills with a particular focus on speaking and listening
  • Improving your pronunciation
  • Widening your knowledge of English grammar
  • Enabling you to apply your knowledge through grammar practice activities
  • Giving you tips on how to continue to improve your English language skills at home
