Creativity in the Classroom

Who is this course for?

Experienced teachers of English, working with secondary or adult students. Participants should be at Common European Framework Level B2.

Course aims

  • To breathe fresh life into your teaching
  • To encourages you to look at new ideas and new possibilities to liven up your teaching
  • To help you and your students become more creative in English

Course programme

This is a really practical course. You will experiment with using a wide range of ideas.

Topics include:

  • Language games
  • Using art and drawing
  • Drama techniques
  • Alternative methodologies (e.g. Total Physical Response)
  • Creative writing
  • Materials design
  • Teaching beyond the course book
  • Using music and songs
  • Storytelling
