Bell Teacher Campus Cambridge

Social programme

Social activities

Cambridge is an outstanding place to be in the summer. There are many cultural events which take place in the evenings and at weekends, and many of these are free of charge to attend. Bell's Cultural Programme Manager will develop a programme for you to help you make the most of your two week stay at Bell Teacher Campus. From organised excursions including a guided tour of Cambridge to fun social events such as an old-fashioned sports day or British Pub Quiz, there is always something to get involved in. Programme Assistants will also advise you on the best local places to go for shopping, eating and drinking or just a relaxing walk in the city.

When you arrive you will be given a cultural programme for the two weeks you will be at Bell Teacher Campus.

A sample of activities which may be included are:

  • Welcome buffet on the first Sunday evening
  • Punting on the river Cam
  • Visits to other historical and cultural destinations
  • Theatre trips
  • Live music events
  • Pub quizzes
  • Old school sports day
