English holiday courses for children in January 2011
Translate this page:
This winter, young learners can develop their English language skills, get an insight into British life and culture and explore the UK on a Bell language and activity course.
With nearly 50 years’ experience, Bell knows what makes the perfect young learner programme – exceptional student care, academic excellence and exciting activities.
Our new twin-centre course combines English language lessons with an opportunity to try out a wide range of different indoor and outdoor sports and creative crafts. Students spend two weeks at Bell Bedgebury International School and two weeks at Bowles Outdoor Education Centre - both in the English countryside. The course offers frequent half and full day study tours to places of interest such as London, Canterbury, Cambridge and Brighton.
“With nine points of excellence according to British council inspectors in their publishable statements, Bell’s summer courses are the highest scoring in the country.” EL Gazette, May 2010

If a flight cannot be booked for the course start date, before booking another date you must contact the Customer Service Team.
We recommend that your child brings about £100 a week pocket money either in cash or travellers cheques. A £30 refundable deposit to cover keys and damages is also taken from students at the start of the course. Please make sure the money you send covers both pocket money and the deposit.
You can also send money in advance - either a sterling cheque payable to ‘The Bell Educational Trust Ltd’ or by bank transfer as follows:
Barclays Bank Plc, Bene’t Street Branch, PO Box 2, Cambridge CB2 3PZ, UK. Bank sort code: 20 17 19, Account number: 80597228, Bank reference: The Bell Educational Trust Ltd, IBAN code: GB38 BARC 2017 1980 5972 28, Swift/BIC code: BARC GB 2103J
Please note that bank transfers can take up to 2 weeks and you will be liable for all bank transfer charges. Please write your child’s name and booking reference number on the transfer documents and send us a copy of the banking papers.
Your child can also obtain cash from your bank account while they are in Britain by using a credit/debit card. Please enquire at your bank in your own country if you wish to arrange this.
We are unable to accept credit card payments for pocket money, or pass on money before we receive it. Because of the time taken to transfer money, we recommend that adequate funds are sent before the course starts.
