WINTER EXPLORER 2 week course [Sample timetable] Morning language lessons are followed by afternoon sports and activities or half day study tours to places of interest, such as Canterbury or Hastings. In addition there are full day study tours to London, giving students the chance to see famous attractions, such as the London Eye, Big Ben and the Tower of London. Students also visit Cambridge, where they can go punting along the river and see the world-famous colleges. |

WINTER EXPLORER PLUS 4 or 6 week course [Sample timetable] This course has all the benefits of Winter Explorer and also includes a three day study tour to Edinburgh. Students visit the main sights of Scotland’s capital, with an opportunity to taste haggis and enjoy Scottish dancing! |

LIVE ON AN ENGLISH COUNTRY ESTATE Students live and study at Bell Bedgebury International School in Kent. The school is set in 220 acres of parkland and has outstanding facilities including a well-equipped sports hall, a woodland assault course and a riding centre. |

Course programme
On a Bell Young Learner course, students learn and practise English through activities and study tours, as well as class-based language lessons. In this way, they develop their English and communication skills, learn about Britain, and have fun at the same time.

21 hours a week |
Students are assessed on arrival and placed in classes depending on their age, language level and maturity. All classes have a good mix of nationalities, and the maximum class size is 14 in UK schools, and 12 in Malta. Students work together to develop confidence and fluency in English, in addition to acquiring new language and skills. They leave their course with increased language knowledge, improved communication skills and a greater understanding of the English language and the local culture. |

Study tours are an important part of each course and give students the opportunity to visit places of historical and cultural interest. Students prepare in class before they go and then use research from their study tour in their project-work. |
