Location

Courses take place at the Bell Bedgebury International School centre in Bedgebury.

The school is set in the South of England, in the heart of the beautiful and unspoiled Kent countryside, and enjoys with excellent transport links to London, UK airports and the Ashford International Eurostar terminal.

Originally the country estate of Viscount Beresford, the main school building dates from the 17th Century and is supplemented by a range of attractive modern facilities, including a fully-equipped sports hall and Riding Centre.

Contained within 220 acres of beautiful parkland, including three lakes, it offers an amazing setting in which to learn English and enjoy a diverse range of activities from horse-riding to swimming.

With such impressive facilities, Bell Bedgebury offers an impressive choice of ‘out of classroom’ activities. However, those who wish to explore a little further afield can take one of the regular Bell shuttle buses to nearby Tunbridge Wells (fantastic for shopping) or to the station for the short journey into London.

Accommodation

The Bell Bedgebury Language Centre is the only Bell UK centre to offer a true campus experience, with shared on-site accommodation.

Accommodation is in shared rooms with separate rooms for girls and boys. Course staff also stay on-site and sleep in rooms adjacent to the children. There are separate bathroom facilities for students and course staff, and for girls and boys. A nurse is available on weekday mornings, and medical staff are always on call.

Meals

All meals are included and provided in the school canteen.

We offer students a varied and nutritionally balanced menu, using locally produced fresh, seasonal produce to deliver tasty and attractive meals from around the world.

We can cater for a range of dietary requirements - from vegetarian to halal - and our chefs are always happy to respond directly to student feedback. If there is a dish that students would like to see on the menu then, wherever possible, we will do our best to provide it.
