Course programme

On a Bell Young Learner course, students learn and practise English through activities and study tours, as well as class-based language lessons. In this way, they develop their English and communication skills, learn about Malta, and have fun at the same time.

Language lessons

Adventure options
6 hours a week

Students are assessed on arrival and placed in classes depending on their age, language level and maturity. All classes have a good mix of nationalities, and the maximum class size is 14 in UK schools, and 12 in Malta.

Students work together to develop confidence and fluency in English, in addition to acquiring new language and skills. They leave their course with increased language knowledge, improved communication skills and a greater understanding of the English language and the local culture.

Study tours

1 full-day and 1 half-day a week from a selection including Mdina, Valletta, a harbour cruise and Malta Experience.

Study tours are an important part of each course and give students the opportunity to visit places of historical and cultural interest. Students prepare in class before they go and then use research from their study tour in their project-work.
