Course programme
On a Bell Young Learner course, students learn and practise English through activities and study
tours, as well as class-based language lessons. In this way, they develop their English and
communication skills, learn about Britain, and have fun at the same time.
| Activity/Duration: |
Details: |
| Language lessons
21 hours a week
|
Students are assessed on arrival and placed in
classes depending on their age, language level and
maturity. All classes have a good mix of nationalities,
and the maximum class size is 14 in UK schools, and
12 in Malta.
Students work together to develop confidence and
fluency in English, in addition to acquiring new
language and skills. They leave their course with
increased language knowledge, improved
communication skills and a greater understanding
of the English language and the local culture.

Study tours
3 full-days, from a selection including London, the Norfolk coast, Nottingham and 3 half-days, from a selection including Saffron Walden, Ely, Cambridge or Norwich.
|
Study tours are an important part of each course
and give students the opportunity to visit places of
historical and cultural interest. Students prepare in class before they go and
then use research from their study tour in their
project-work.
