Who is the course for?

Experienced teachers of English with an advance level of English (Language level: Common European Framework Level C1) working with secondary or adult students.

Course aims

To examine current developments in teaching methodology for integrating literature and language teaching
To critically evaluate a range of literary materials for exploitation in the classroom and to prepare appropriate tasks

Course programme

The course is taught through a series of informal lectures, seminars and workshops.Topics can include:

Creative writing
Using literary texts as a teaching resource
Literary criticism
Practical classroom ideas for teaching different literary genres
Theatre visit
Examining aspects of contemporary English

EU funding

EU funding to the value of 1500 euros is available for teachers from the European Union and Associated Countries.
