Accommodation options

The Bell Malta Summer English course fee includes a choice of either Homestay Sharing or Residential Sharing.

Homestay Sharing

Our homestays provide a friendly and welcoming environment for you to relax in, and all are within walking distance of the centre.

Two or three students share the bedrooms, and there may be up to four students staying with one family. The bathroom may have a bath or a shower and is also shared.

If you would like a single room with shared bathroom, there will be a supplement of €120 per week.

Most homes in Malta are modest in size with an average of 3 bedrooms and take 3 or 4 students. Your room will have a bed, a chest of drawers, a cupboard/wardrobe and access to a study desk or table. Bed linen and towels are provided. Your room will be regularly cleaned, but you are responsible for keeping the room tidy so that it can be easily cleaned. You will have a fan in your bedroom.

Breakfast and dinner will be provided at your homestay. Breakfast is normally cereal, bread, jam, fruit juice and tea/coffee. In Malta the evening meal is served anytime between 1800 to 2000 hours. Some homestays can provide special diets e.g. vegetarian, diabetic, etc. if Bell Malta is informed at the time of booking. People in Malta generally like animals and some homes have pets e.g. cats or dogs. Smoking is not permitted in student bedrooms and many families do not allow smoking at all.
