Academic Preparation Programme

  • Academic Preparation Programme
  • A two-term preparation programme, based on the University Foundation Programme, focusing on English language development with academic skills and subject modules
  • International students preparing for university (who may already have secured a place at an institution), or who want to improve their academic skills
  • 24 weeks
    (2 terms)
    • At least 17
    • Completed high school education (min. 13 years to enter UK university)
    • Minimum level of IELTS 5.5

Masters Preparation Programme

  • Masters Preparation Programme
  • Full-time pre-Masters programme combining English language learning with academic skills, intensive IELTS exam preparation and subject modules
  • International students preparing for a Masters programme in the UK
  • 12-36 weeks (1-3 terms)
    • At least 21 years old
    • Completed first degree
    • IELTS 5.0 (3 terms) 5.5 (2 terms) 6 (1 term)

University Foundation Programme

  • University Foundation Programme
  • A one-year university preparation programme combining intensive English language tuition with academic skills and subject modules
  • International students preparing to study at a university in the UK, USA or Europe, and who require an extra qualification
  • 36 weeks
    (3 terms)
    • At least 17
    • Completed high school education
    • Minimum level of IELTS 4.5 in reading, writing, listening and speaking
