University preparation courses

Bell's university preparation courses are designed to prepare you for life at an English speaking university. In addition to intensive English language training, you will focus on subject tuition and learn about British life and culture giving you a complete linguistic, cultural and academic experience.

Choosing the right course for you:

University Foundation Programme

A full-time 36 week course, which combines English language learning with academic skills and subject modules, such as Business Studies, Economics, Law and many more.
Ideal for international students preparing for study at a university in the UK.

Hours per week

Masters Preparation Programme

Full-time two or three term Pre-Masters programme combining English language learning with academic skills and subject modules: management studies and marketing.
Ideal for international students preparing for a Masters programme in the UK.

A-level Programme

Students specialise in three or sometimes four main subjects, enabling them to study these in depth.
Ideal for students who wish to continue their studies at a British University.

Special group training (for groups of adults from the same organisation)

Bell has for many years offered institutions, organisations and groups from the same country or area a special group arrangement. These group courses can be for business and general English students, teachers groups or groups which need English for a special purpose.

"Core" study programme
which is obligatory and consists of:

Group tuition

The hours of group tuition (time spent in the classroom) varies for each course.

1 to 1 tuition

For maximum results you can purchase additional 1 to 1 tuition which can be built in to your “core” study programme.

Your teacher will set a personalised programme of study for you to complete each week in your own time. You can complete this in the study centre or at home. Your attendance will be recorded and your progress measured.

These cover a variety of topics from discussions on current affairs, British life and culture and the English language.

Take advantage of a variety of learning materials and advice from teachers in the study centre. The number of guided study hours for each course is our recommendation, however you can also access the study centre at other times.
